ANGELIKA’S NOTE

Based on the novel by Frank Herbert, director Denis Villeneuve's (BLADE RUNNER 2049, ARRIVAL) latest work is a masterpiece of science fiction. With beautiful visuals and brilliant performances from Timothee Chalamet (CALL ME BY YOUR NAME), Rebecca Ferguson (THE GREATEST SHOWMAN), and Zendaya (SPIDERMAN: HOMECOMING), DUNE is a spectacle to behold, following the son of a noble family on his journey to protect the most important element in the galaxy. ABC News raves, "Denis Villeneuve's take on Frank Herbert's dauntingly complex novel can sputter and flirt with incoherence, but the director and his actors, led by an all-in Timothée Chalamet, find the pow and the poetry in this cornucopia of visual astonishments."

SYNOPSIS

A mythic and emotionally charged hero’s journey, DUNE tells the story of Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must travel to the most dangerous planet in the universe to ensure the future of his family and his people. As malevolent forces explode into conflict over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most precious resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s greatest potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.
